A classically-trained pianist since he was seven years old, guitarist since he was 14, and most recently an advancing violinist, he has been composing in genres of music ranging from classical/orchestrial to experimental to rock to electronic music (mainly IDM, Drum and Bass, and Ambient) for most of his life. Baker began producing electronic music under the moniker of Fidelium in 2004. His style ranges from ambient sound textures to orchestrally driven art music and he is driven to constant broadening of his production style, as he incorporates his wide musical taste into his sound. Before taking a hiatus from producing electronic music to further study modern musical theory in 2007, he unofficially released three albums: Believe Me This is Home, Rhododendron, and LLELL. His track Ibix is also featured on IDMf001, and is his last release before his two year break from producing.
