Fidelium is an electronic musician est. 2004. His cross-genre music features epic progressions, lush sound design, driving rhythms, and innovative melodic lines.

Wayne Baker of San Francisco, CA, USA has been working in the area of live-sound, sound production, professional musicianship, and music promotion for well over a decade. Along with playing instruments his whole life, he has been composing in genres of music ranging from classical/orchestrial to experimental to rock to electronic music (IDM, dubstep, drum and bass, downtempo and ambient) for over 15 years. He is currently studying music theory and composition at San Francisco State University and lives his life completely focused on music.

Heading in the direction of melding electronic synthesis with the organic sounds of nature and electroacoustic experimentation, Baker started Fidelium in hopes of exploring these avenues further. His style ranges from ambient sound textures to fierce and intricately-layered bass music and he is driven toward broadening his production style, as he incorporates his wide and attention-deficit musical taste into his sound.

In December 2009, Fidelium released his 2004 album Believe Me This Is Home EP, which he remastered himself. It is available for free download on Bandcamp.

Fidelium has been an active member, administrator, mastering engineer, and label head at IDMforums.com since August 2006. During his tenure at IDMf Netlabel he released over 30 albums from a diverse population of talented artists within the community. He left the netlabel in July 2011 to pursue new projects.

Now residing in San Francisco, CA, Fidelium begun releasing mixes of various styles via Soundcloud and his website (http://iamfidelium.com), along with working on new material.

On July 22, 2011, Fidelium self-released "Diametry", a 12 track gapless album. You can get it here.
